Another great example of what we can do with your space than many others can’t. This was originally what I would describe as a traditional fitted kitchen. Two L-shape runs with lots of units and a breakfast bar added as well. Now whilst storage is always great, it doesnt always give you the asthestics and also the practicality of use that you want from your kitchen. My client would have loved an island but wasnt sure she would be able to fit one in. They wanted the space to look amazing as they will not be doing the kitchen again but they wanted it to work hard also.

So by stripping all the units off one wall i was able to create this Island design inclusive of seating and also a reading nook. It is elegant in design with all the appliances, other than the hob, on one wall. That left plenty of space for this gorgeous island to take centre stage.

Stunning Lava black lacquered doors

I particularly like the fact they allowed me to be brave with the colour choice. The stunning Lava black lacquered doors are complimented with this awesome Copper/brown XTone worktop.  The 4 in 1 black kettle tap adds style and practicality as there is now no need for a kettle. The stone undermount sink looks great in the worktop. The state of the art venting hob, with built in digital scales is the ultimate induction hob and looks great on the island. Last but not least was the feature lighting which totally transforms the look from day to night.
